Queanbeyan Players is casting for American Idiot!

The story, expanded from that of Green Day’s 2004 album, centres on three disaffected young men, Johnny, Will and Tunny. Johnny and Tunny flee a stagnant suburban lifestyle and parental restrictions, while Will has to stay at home to work out his relationship and care for his pregnant girlfriend, Heather.

Johnny & Tunny look for meaning in life and try out the freedom and excitement of the City. Tunny quickly gives up City life, joins the military and is shipped off to war. Johnny turns to drugs and finds a part of himself that he grows to dislike, he has a relationship with Whatsername and experiences lost love.

This concept rock album-turned-musical is sure to win your heart and get your blood pumping.
